Robert Wagner Celebrates Actor Son-in-Law Barry Watson’s Birthday: ‘Grateful for the Laughs’

Robert Wagner is thankful for his family.

The former Hart to Hart star, 96, and wife Jill St. John celebrated son-in-law Barry Watson’s birthday on Thursday, April 23, by sharing a sweet tribute to the actor on Instagram.

“Join Jill and I in wishing our terrific son-in-law Barry Watson a Happy Birthday,” Robert captioned a selfie of the pair, adding a party popper emoji in the caption. “Always fun times when you’re around-grateful for the laughs, the love and these unforgettable moments together.”

“Cheers to another great year ahead!” he added.

Best known for playing Matt Camden on 7th Heaven, Watson — who celebrates his 52nd birthday on Thursday — is married to Natasha Gregson Wagner, who was raised by Robert and John, 85, after the death of her mother, Robert’s former wife Natalie Wood.

Natasha, 55, and Watson share daughter Clover Clementyne, who was born two years before they married in May 2012. Watson has two other children — Oliver and Felix — from his prior marriage to Tracy Hutson.

Natasha also celebrated her husband’s birthday on Thursday by sharing an Instagram photo of them kissing as well as a solo shot of Watson.

“I love my earth man,” the High Fidelity actress wrote in the caption. “Today is his birthday.”

“Growing older with you keeps getting better, more fun, deeper,” she added. “Thanks for being the coziest, funniest, sexiest bday boy I know. I love you babe.”
