Ryan Gosling and Wife Eva Mendes Adopt a Cute New Dog: ‘Meet Lucho’

How sweet! Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes just welcomed a new furry friend into their family. On Wednesday, July 10, the 45-year-old actress shared a photo of her and their new dog, Lucho, to Instagram. And he’s a really cute pup!

“Meet Lucho. The newest member of our family. We adopted him from this amazing agency called Friends for Life Rescue Network @fflrescuenetwork,” Eva penned the caption. “If you’re looking for a fluffy family member, adoption is a great option. So many little dudes out there needing a home. If you’re not able to have a pet but love animals, you can donate to this nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible. Your donation helps keep animals off the streets and out of shelters where they euthanize ❤️.”

Eva and Ryan’s two daughters — Esmeralda, 4, and Amada, 3, will surely have a great time playing with Lucho at home. Not only will he keep their little girls company, but having him around might make Eva and Ryan think about welcoming more kids again.

“Eva’s radiant when she’s with her family and she’s come out of her shell a lot. Eva’s been yearning for one more and [it’s] even better that Ryan is on board,” an insider previously shared to Closer Weekly about the couple expanding their brood in March. “He’s happy with two [kids] but knows if he didn’t give in she’d be sulking, so he said OK and he’s glad he did. He’s pretty easygoing.”

The insider admitted that welcoming another child will greatly impact Eva and Ryan’s marriage. “Their relationship has had its share of snags but their kids are the glue that keeps them together. They’re very excited and they feel closer than ever. The spark is back too,” the source said.
