Man’s Best Friend — ‘American Idol’ Host Ryan Seacrest’s Cutest Photos With His Dogs
No matter who comes in and out of Ryan Seacrest‘s life, his best friends will always be his dogs. Not only have they kept him company while quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic, but they’ve also cheered him up after his third split from ex-girlfriend Shayna Taylor in June 2020.
In fact, Ryan said he was gifted his beautiful dog Georgia from American Idol creator Simon Fuller, who noticed the TV personality would be a great dad someday. So he surprised Ryan with one of the Labrador Retrievers he raised at home.
“I was at Simon Fuller’s house… watching probably a rerun of American Idol. He kind of looked at me playing with the dogs with that weird look like, ‘Huh, you’re going to be a dad one day.’ Then, a couple of weeks later, a knock on the door and a little tiny, black, beautiful, cute puppy Lab shows up,” Ryan gushed during the July 9, episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan.
Georgia came with an adorable note that said, “Dear Ryan, this is your first step into daddyhood. Love, Simon Fuller.” Ryan thought that “was the sweetest, nicest, kindest thing” that anyone has ever done for him. “So now, for life, Georgia is my partner,” he added.
Since that day, Georgia and Ryan have gone on so many adventures together. In August 2020, the producer celebrated National Dog Day by posting a bunch of cute photos of his pal over the years. “It’s Georgia’s world and I just live in it,” the Emmy winner gushed on Instagram. “Happy #NationalDogDay to all the good pups out there!”
Ryan loves being a pet owner so much that he didn’t mind looking after Shayna’s tiny white pooch named Panders when she was busy with work. In July 2018, the talk show host took Georgia and Panders on a walk in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Everyone looked so happy, including Ryan who was smiling from ear to ear.
The Atlanta, Georgia, native also owns a brown Australian Labradoodle with Shayna, but since their separation, he hasn’t posted many photos of him and their dog on social media.
