‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Fans Can’t Get Enough of Finn’s New Fiery Attitude
Steffy Forrester shocks Finn with a surrogacy secret on ‘Bold and the Beautiful,’ sparking rare outrage from her usually compliant husband, delighting fans craving this new side of Finn.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had a big confession to make this week, but it wasn’t the whole truth. Some may not even call it a half-truth, but it absolutely outraged Steffy’s husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan), shocking fans, since Finn is rarely angry at Steffy, even when he has every right to be.
Steffy is pregnant with Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) baby after a drunken one-night stand in her grandfather’s office. Since Carter and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) need an egg donor and surrogate, Carter insisted that Steffy volunteer to do the job, but not mention how she actually became pregnant. Although Finn had said no to this idea, Steffy told him that she went ahead with the procedure anyway while he was on a business trip.
Throughout their five-year marriage, Finn has always done everything Finn has told her to do and been the dutiful, complacent husband, even when he didn’t agree with what his wife wanted. Seeing him find his backbone and chew out Steffy for doing something so monumental against his wishes was refreshing for fans, who have been waiting to see this new side of Finn.
“I’m on Finn’s side,” one fan wrote on X. “Steffy is making mistakes instead of telling Finn everything and only listening to what Carter tells her, and frankly, she’s been acting like an idiot for quite some time now. I love Steffy, but Finn has every right to be angry.”
“I am a little surprised that Finn has been allowed to push back on the ‘surrogacy’ given that most of the time they write that pairing like Steffy is a cult leader and Finn is her loyal follower,” another fan wrote. “If he doesn’t toe the line, she takes the kids to Europe.”
