Justin Chambers Can’t Live Without Keisha Chambers! Learn All About the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star’s Wife

Paging Dr. Alex Karev?! Justin Chambers‘ love life is just as interesting as his character’s past storyline on Grey’s Anatomy. He’s been married to wife Keisha Chambers for two decades and she supported him when he revealed his plans to leave the medical drama in January 2020.

“There’s no good time to say goodbye to a show and character that’s defined so much of my life for the past 15 years,” he said in a statement to Deadline. “For some time now, however, I have hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices. And, as I turn 50 and am blessed with my remarkable, supportive wife and five wonderful children, now is that time.”

“As I move on from Grey’s Anatomy, I want to thank the ABC family, Shonda Rhimes, original cast members Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, and the rest of the amazing cast and crew, both past and present, and, of course, the fans for an extraordinary ride,” he concluded.

When it comes to his career, Justin will always put his family first. In 2007, he told Good Housekeeping that he’s been with Keisha for so long that he doesn’t know any other way to be. “I can remember lying in bed with her years ago and having conversations about our grandparents — and now our grandparents are gone,” he recalled. “We’ve gone through that together, and now our parents are getting older and we’re going through that together.”

Justin noted that every relationship has its “ups and downs” and no matter what, he’ll always feel “fortunate to have found someone who will be my partner on this journey.” As he decides what roles to take on next, we’re sure he’ll make the best decision for him, Keisha and their five kids.

In the meantime, Justin will continue to rave about his spouse in interviews. “My wife and I do our best to live a low-key, non-Hollywood kind of life,” he said. Who knows what’s next for this actor and his loved ones?
