Eva Longoria Shut Down Pregnancy Rumors for Months Before Revealing She’s Expecting!

For months, Eva Longoria has been shutting down rampant rumors that she was expecting — and now, after much speculation, the actress has revealed she actually is pregnant! Eva, 42, and her husband, Jose Bastón, 49, confirmed to E! News on Tuesday, Dec. 19 that they are preparing to welcome a bouncing baby boy into their family.

Gossip most recently emerged about Eva possibly being pregnant in early September after she stepped out in Athens, Greece wearing a noticeably flowy, floral dress. But, on Thursday, Sept. 8, Eva’s rep put the pregnancy rumors to rest and confirmed to Us Weekly that she was not expecting a baby at the time.

Just a few days earlier, Eva hit the beach with her handsome hubby sporting what many fans thought was a tiny baby bump. Before that, the Desperate Housewives star was also photographed precariously holding a laptop over her stomach while out and about in LA. So, people have been wondering for a while if she had some exciting news to share! In a previous interview, Eva joked about her “food baby” in paparazzi photos that seemingly showed her sporting a baby bump. “I saw some pictures of myself [looking] really fat on a boat. I have to tell you, all I did was eat cheese. So that’s the news of the day. I’m not pregnant, just eating a lot of cheese, a lot of wine, a lot of pancakes,” she revealed at the time.

Eva and Jose previously tied the knot in Mexico in May 2016 after announcing their engagement in December 2015. “Everyone is saying I’m glowing but I’m not pregnant! I’m just in love,” she told In Touch shortly after her wedding. While Eva is now pregnant for the first time, her husband is already a father to four kids — and the actress has loved being a stepmom! “[My stepchildren] have been such a gift in my life. I don’t feel like we’re lacking because we don’t have a baby,” she previously told People. We can’t wait to meet Eva and Jose’s new bundle of joy soon!
