Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Make Rare Visit to See King Charles After 4 Years Apart
King Charles III reunited with grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for the first time in four years alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, had not spent time in the United Kingdom since June 2022, according to People. No photos or further details of the reunion between Charles, Archie, and Lilibet are expected to be released, the media outlet noted.
Harry has been back in England for several days, attending numerous charity events. Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet did not join him at the beginning of the trip. For several days, it was believed they wouldn’t come at all, due to security and accommodation concerns.

The last time Lilibet and Archie were in the U.K. was for Queen Elizabeth‘s Platinum Jubilee events. Several months after that event, Harry and Meghan returned to England for Elizabeth’s funeral. However, Archie and Lilibet did not attend.
Harry and Meghan stepped back from the family and their Royal duties in early 2020, less than a year after Archie was born. The family relocated to California in March 2020, and Lilibet was born there in June 2021.
This family reunion was a long time coming. Harry and his father had tea together in September 2025, the first time in nearly two years they had spent time with one another. That, too, was a private event with no photos of the two together released.
Harry had indicated he wanted to bring the whole family back to England for this trip, but in recent days, it seemed that it wouldn’t come together. Royal watchers were pleasantly surprised to learn of the afternoon gathering that included Archie and Lilibet.
People reported that Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet flew in for the family gathering from the vacation they had been on in other parts of Europe.
