‘General Hospital’ Fans Gear Up For the Ultimate Court Battle With Luke and Laura’s Daughter
Willow Tait sued Lulu Spencer for libel on ‘General Hospital,’ but fans are rooting for Lulu and Ric to expose the truth in court and take Willow down.
General Hospital’s Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has gotten away with lie after lie and crime after crime over the last year, but she took her biggest gamble yet when she sued Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) for libel — for a story she knows is absolutely true.
Lulu may not have used the best methods to get that interview with a post-op Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), a man who was under the influence of strong painkillers. However, he did tell her the truth, even if he denies the story now. He did indeed supply Willow with a WSB-created drug so she could keep her husband in a paralytic state for months.
Willow wasn’t quite sure what to do when Lulu published her story, but Chase (Josh Swickard) put the idea in her head to sue Lulu since he was certain the Quartermaines managed to force Lulu into printing the story. As Lulu reminded Ric (Rick Hearst) before they met with Willow and her lawyer, Monet (Blythe Howard), she’s a Spencer, meaning she is the daughter of Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis), the characters who made up the most famous duo in daytime soap history.

Willow has no real idea who she is dealing with, as fans have been pointing out.
“I wouldn’t mind a court battle between Willow & Lulu, but only if tons of the truth comes out about what Willow has done. That’s the only way to make this watchable & sweeps worthy,” one fan wrote on X.
After watching Willow believe her own lies during the attorney meeting, fans were chomping at the bit for Lulu to take her on in court.
“I am BEGGING- if Lulu takes Willow down, I will forgive the show for so much!!! We need this to END and Lulu deserves a win,” another fan said.
“Willow’s speech was truly ironic,” another viewer tweeted. “I feel like she lives in a parallel universe and is completely convinced of what she’s saying. She’s the one manipulating, betraying, and plotting. Lulu makes me laugh with her expression about Willow.”
The expressions definitely made a lasting impression on fans, who are ready for the judge to gavel in.
“Lulu and Ric aren’t intimidated by Monet and Willow,” another fan summed up. “We love to see it. Y’all better win that case, or I’m starting a letter writing campaign.”
