He’s Still Got It: Jack Nicholson Sent Jennifer Lawrence Champagne After Oscars

Ever the lothario, even at 76, Jack Nicholson didn't just stop at almost propositioning Jennifer Lawrence at last year's Oscars.

After the now-infamous encounter, the veteran actor sent his celebrity crush a present following the incident, she revealed.

The Hunger Games actress said on Good Morning America earlier this week, "He sent me flowers and a bottle of Cristal champagne and a note that said, 'Missing you already.' Not to brag.

"I should have probably kept it a secret so it was just between me and Jack," she added.

Who can forget the moment, which will likely go down in Oscar history, when the 23-year-old was interrupted by Jack while she was being interviewed by George Stephanopoulos after her Best Actress win for Silver Linings Playbook.

Spotting her as he walked past the beauty, he sidled over to her and said, "You did such a beautiful job. I didn’t mean to cross into your interview but I had to congratulate you."

He cheekily added, "You look like an old girlfriend of mine."

And never one to be left speechless, Jennifer responded, "Oh really, do I look like a new girlfriend?" To which Jack responded, "I thought about it. I'll be waiting."

Though she seemed cool, calm and collected throughout the encounter, as Nicholson walked away she turned around to George Stephanopoulos and mouthed, "Oh my God", looking suitably mortified.
