Janet Jackson’s Son Eissa Makes an Adorable Cameo in His Mom’s Latest Instagram Video

Why hello there, Eissa! When Janet Jackson took to social media on Wednesday, July 4 to thank her fans for their love and support following her father Joe Jackson's recent death, the singer's 19-month-old son Eissa Al Mana made an adorable cameo in his famous mama's Instagram video.

"Hey, you guys, it’s been a pretty rough week. But we’re excited. I’m excited," Janet began the clip, referencing her return to her concert tour. "We cannot wait to see you. And it’s been way too long. I miss you guys way too much. I’m about to jump on this plane and start this tour."

"Like I said, I can’t wait to see you — those are my baby’s footsteps you hear, my baby Eissa. All right, honey, all right, sweetheart, OK. Alright, I’m right here. I love you, I’ll see you soon. OK, I'll pick you up baby, bye," she said as her little boy toddled into the room during his mom's video.

Earlier this year, Janet candidly opened up about her life today after welcoming Eissa, her first child, with ex-husband Wissam Al Mana in January 2017. "My son, even in his short 17 months on the planet, has [shown] me that love, no matter how deeply you believe you have experienced that emotion, can always go deeper," the proud mom told Billboard in the magazine's May 19 issue.

"Love is limitless. And for someone like me, raised in show business where self-concern is always a priority, how fortunate I am now to be concerned, first and foremost, with the welfare of someone else," Janet added.

In fact, Janet said Eissa has provided solace for her in the wake of her split from husband Wissam. "Day after day and night after night, holding my baby in my arms, I am at peace," she shared. "I am blessed. I feel bliss. In those moments, all is right with the world."

The 52-year-old also revealed another charming fact about her son: Eissa loves the "Finesse" of pop star Bruno Mars. "Bruno was really the first music my son responded to," she revealed. "During and after his birth, I comforted myself with Brazilian jazz, music that always relaxes me. Then when the baby began crawling, Bruno was breaking out big and on the radio all the time. That delighted both of us. Bruno is a throwback to the days when the greatest artists could do it all: write, sing, dance, produce."

Of course, Janet isn't gonna become a live-at-home mom anytime soon. She'll soon join Bruno on the radio, as she's currently working on new music. She isn't ready to talk about her latest creative output, though. "Spontaneity is so important to me," she said. "It allows for surprise, and, for me, surprise is what breaks up the boredom of daily life. When I finally get to the music that genuinely expresses what I'm experiencing in the moment, I feel free. Music does that for me. Its healing properties are extraordinary."

So the suspense builds! Considering her infatuation with motherhood, however, we wouldn't at all be surprised if Janet's next album boasted a track named "Eissa."
