You go, girl! According to a recent report, Janet Jackson has already shed 50 pounds since giving birth to her baby son, Eissa, in January — and by the looks of her latest Instagram photo, that may very well be the case!
In the pic posted on Monday, Aug. 7, Janet looked better than ever following her weight loss. “Hey, you guys. I’m so excited for the State of the World Tour. We are in rehearsal mode. Janet’s impressive slim-down comes shortly after the “Rhythm Nation” songstress announced she will embark on a 56-city, North American tour beginning this September after she had to cancel her Unbreakable World Tour in May 2016 due to her pregnancy. “Her pregnancy and having a healthy baby were her top priority, so when she canceled her last tour, she knew that she would be making it up to all of her fans once she got on the road again,” the insider said.
Three months after little Eissa’s birth, Janet unfortunately revealed she and her husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, 42, were splitting after nearly five years of marriage. “Janet and her husband are separated, but have a mutual love and admiration for each other,” the source told ET. “There doesn’t seem to be a reconciliation in the future, but never say never.”

Life & Style recently reported that Janet will bring her son, Eissa, along on her tour come fall. “Janet is putting together a full-time staff devoted to his care,” an insider told the magazine. “He’ll have a baby nurse, nanny, and bodyguard.”
