John Travolta Shares Sweet Video in Honor of His ‘Baby Girl’ Ella’s 19th Birthday — Take a Look!

It looks like birthday wishes are in store for John Travolta‘s daughter, Ella Bleu, who turned 19 on Thursday, April 4! To commemorate the exciting occasion, the beloved Grease actor took to Instagram to share a sweet video of his growing daughter.

“Happy Birthday to my baby girl Ella!!” John, 65, wrote in the caption. In the clip, the beautiful teen can be seen obsessing over a stunning clutch her famous father’s pal Kirstie Alley gifted her on the special day. “It’s Ella’s birthday today!” John gushed into the camera. “That’s a gift from Kirstie,” he said as he introduced everyone around the table. “Hi honey, Hi Ben,” he said to his wife, Kelly Preston, and their 8-year-old son, Benjamin. Fans of the Saturday Night Fever hunk couldn’t get over the fact that John’s daughter is all grown up! “Awwwwww cutest family ever. Happy Birthday, Ella! Seems like just yesterday she was born …” one fan wrote in the comment section of John’s post. “Happy birthday to her and congratulations to you for having that wonderful family!” gushed another.

It’s no surprise how much their kids mean to both John and Kelly. “Our children keep our interest in life very high,” the Pulp Fiction actor admitted to Us Weekly in late January. “Their future is very important to us.” That statement rings true especially now more than ever after the couple suffered the devastating loss of their eldest child, son Jett Travolta, back in January 2009 when he was just 16 years old.

While losing his first-born was the most traumatic period in his life, John credited his family’s support and his faith in Scientology for helping him find his purpose in life again. “The truth is, I didn’t know if I was going to make it. Life was no longer interesting to me, so it took a lot to get me better. I will forever be grateful to Scientology for supporting me for two years solid,” he once told BBC News in 2015.

In fact, the Gotti star even once shared that Ben was the key person in repairing the broken family’s bond after losing Jett a year before their youngest son’s birth. “Certainly having little Benjamin has been a beautiful kind of glue for us to re-bond after a tremendous loss,” he candidly admitted during an appearance on Good Morning America in 2016.
