Royal Baby bump watchers got quite the unexpected treat this morning when Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since it was announced she and husband Prince William are expecting their second child.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is estimated to be around 13 weeks pregnant, has been suffering from Hyperemisis Gravidarum, the same severe morning sickness she battled while expecting the couple's first child, Prince George.

Kate — who's due in April — debuted her tiny baby bump in a grey coat dress by Alexander McQueen (the same designer who created her iconic wedding gown). She accessorized it with a bespoke Jane Taylor (another favorite couturier of the royal) hat and Annoushka pearl and 18-carat yellow gold diamond encrusted earrings.

She and Wills were on hand to welcome Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng Yam to England for a state visit. The couple met Dr. Tan and his wife, Mary, at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London, on behalf of the Queen.

They then escorted their guests, whom they had previously met during their visit to South East Asia as part of the 2012 Diamond Jubilee tour, to the Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall for the ceremonial welcome with William's grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Following the prestigious event, Mail Online reports Kate and William, both 32, traveled back to the palace in a carriage procession. Kate is reportedly set to attend the 2014 Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards ceremony at London's Natural History Museum later today.
