Congratulations are in order for Malin Akerman — she’s getting married! The 39-year-old actress announced she is engaged to boyfriend Jack Donnelly, 31, via Instagram on Friday, Oct. 13. “This sweet and loving man has stepped into our lives and stole both our hearts! I think we’re gonna keep him around for a while 😉 #Engaged #ISaidYes #JackDonnelly #Family #Yes,” Malin captioned a sweet snapshot of herself with Jack. In the pic, Malin is even sporting her new engagement ring — and the rock is so pretty!
The 27 Dresses star and Jack — an English actor who is best known for his role in BBC series Atlantis — first went public with their romance when they were caught kissing in Puerto Rico in March. They later made their red carpet debut at the 57th Monte Carlo TV Festival and Golden Nymph Awards two months later.

Malin’s marriage to Jack will be her second. She was previously hitched to Italian musician Roberto Zincone from June 2007 until December 2013. The former couple, who tied the knot in Sorrento, Italy, are parents to a four-year-old son, Sebastian Zincone, who was born in April 2013. In a previous interview, Malin opened up about her divorce and admitted, “everything happens for a reason.”
“[The split] was jarring at first. It takes a minute to move through the emotions. But there is a beautiful thing about relationships where you grow each other to a point where you can’t grow each other anymore,” she told People. “You can’t control life. I roll with the punches. And ultimately, it’s like, ‘Where is the opportunity in this?’ And that’s been a nice way to look at it. Like, oh my God, I get to have so much special time with my son now.”
In January 2016, the actress confessed she wasn’t “actively looking” for love. “It’s hard because your heart is so full for your child, the next guy that comes along is going to have a lot of competition!” she said at the time. We’re so happy Malin and Jack have found happiness together!
