Mariah Carey Performs Onstage With Her Kids Monroe and Moroccan

When you’re one of the biggest music stars in the world, you’re allowed to perform on stage with just about anyone you want, but Mariah Carey recently decided that the best people who could join her while on tour were her two kids.

On Tuesday, March 5, the 48-year-old performed in Atlanta at the Fox Theatre during her Caution World Tour and, while onstage, the hitmaker invited her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, both 7, to perform beside her.

In the new photos, the kids can both be seen in white tops and jeans while their mom went the dress route, rocking quite the outfit. Mariah shares her children with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, who she was married to from 2008 to 2016. The singer is now in a relationship with Bryan Tanaka, although she and her ex still do a great job coparenting their twins.

“She’s an amazing, outstanding, top-of-the-line mother,” MTV’s Wild ’N Out star, 38, once told In Touch. “It’s like Mary Poppins is your mom.” The Masked Singer host also revealed that he’s completely OK with his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, saying, “I always make funny jabs at them! It’s hilarious to me [that they’re together]. They’re enjoying each other, having fun. I’m super cool with him, but I still think it’s funny!”

And while they have been officially separated for over two years, Nick still gushes about Mariah. “People don’t know she is such a nourishing and giving individual,” he told the outlet at the time. “I have never seen someone so giving. [Mariah] remembers everyone’s birthday, favorite color — she’s like one of those types of people, always sending cakes, flowers and balloons.”

It also doesn’t seem like the TV personality will be getting married again anytime soon. “To me, marriage is a business that society controls, paperwork, which can get in the way. Love shouldn’t be bound,” Nick said. We’re just glad to see that their kids seem to be fairly close to both of them. And hey, we should probably expect to see them again soon next to mom on stage.
