Marie Osmond Shares Pic of Brother Donny Faded From Their Vegas Billboard: ‘Finally Got It Right’

LOL! Marie Osmond and brother Donny Osmond may share a great relationship, but the superstar sibling duo can’t help but tease each other from time to time. The “Paper Roses” songstress most recently took a crack at her brother as she shared a photo of their Las Vegas residency billboard with Donny’s photo faded to where he’s barely even visible next to Marie!

“I made it to 2020 and they finally got it right,” the 60-year-old beauty hilariously captioned her Instagram post on Thursday, January 16. In the snap, Marie’s picture can be seen largely displayed on the front of the Flamingo Hotel & Resort — where she and Donny, 62, performed their Las Vegas residency for over 11 years until their final show in November 2019. While Marie can be seen nearly perfectly, the Masked Singer alum is completely unnoticeable!

Fans of the Talk star quickly flooded her comment section as they laughed along to their sibling rivalry antics. “You sure did Marie! And you’ll probably make it all the way to infinity and beyond!” one fan wrote, while another quipped, “Finally!! Sorry!” A third fan chimed in, writing, “They just don’t want to let go of the best long-running show that Vegas has ever had!”

Prior to the New Year, Donny shared a similar photo of their massive Las Vegas billboard. Although the hotel has begun taking down the snapshots of the brother-sister duo, Donny joked he looks like a “ghost” because his photo was nearly almost faded on the building’s refurbished walls.

“The ghost of Donny still remains. ?#DonnyandMarie @flamingovegas,” the “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” crooner jokingly wrote on December 23.

Although it’s been months since Donny and Marie performed the final show of their iconic Las Vegas residency — which first began as a six-week show in 2008 — fans still can’t believe their days of taking the stage together are over for good. Despite teasing possible joint projects in the future, Donny insisted “it’s not the end of Donny and Marie” in an Instagram post from September 2019.

Marie echoed her brother’s sentiments while chatting exclusively with Closer Weekly in October 2019. The Dancing With the Stars alum — who is the proud mom of Stephen, 26, Jessica, 32, Rachael, 30, Brandon, 23, Brianna, 22, Matthew, 20, Abigail, 17, and late son Michael — explained why things will never be officially over between the two siblings.

“There’s this thing called DNA that kind of like makes you close,” Marie jokingly shared at the time. “Donny and I, we have so much history together. Even though we had our own careers and I did my thing for years and he did his, I mean, we’re family.”
