Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Grant Reportedly Hospitalized After Car Accident

Okay, what the heck is going on here? Meghan Markle is just days away from the biggest moment of her whole life, and her family is falling apart at the seams! First, her father Thomas Markle had a heart attack, and learned he can't attend the ceremony because he needed immediate heart surgery. Then, Meghan's mom Doria Ragland up and left her job. Now, Meghan's estranged half-sister Samantha Grant has reportedly been hospitalized with a broken ankle!

On May 16, TMZ reported that Meghan's half-sister Samantha had a gnarly run-in with the paparazzi in Florida. Her boyfriend Mark told the outlet that as they were pulling through a tollbooth, they ended up having a "confrontation" when a photographer cut them off with his car. He swerved, and ended up hitting the median. The paps were said to have fled the scene quickly.

During the accident, he said Samantha hit the windsheild and got stuck on the floor, unable to pull herself due to her MS. The condition causes bones to be brittle and break easily, and Mark quickly noticed that Sam's leg was backwards and brought her to the emergency room. She possibly had a broken ankle and fractured knee, and is being treated immediately.

It's just wild how many bad things have happened to Meghan's family in the week leading up to her wedding. Her father Thomas was supposed to walk her down the aisle, but ended up needing emergency heart surgery on May 16. Not to mention her brother Tom Jr. released an open letter trying to tell her not to marry Prince Harry. Are these people seriously trying to dull her shine on what should be the most special day of her life? Or is this just a series of very unfortunate events. Either way, we hope she doesn't let it ruin her wedding.
