Megyn Kelly Is All-Smiles While Taking Her Kids To School After ‘Today’ Exit — See The New Pics!
It’s only been just more than a month since Megyn Kelly‘s tumultuous Today show exit but the 48-year-old TV star is seemingly doing just fine. On the morning of Friday, Dec. 7, Megyn was spotted taking her two youngest kids, daughter Yardley Evans Brunt, 7, and son Thatcher Bray Brunt, 5, to school in NYC and the new pics of the trio are super cute.
Though Megyn is now allegedly looking to make her next career move, the mom-of-three — she also shares nine-year-old son Edward Yates Brunt with husband Douglas Brunt — once candidly opened up about the hardships of being a working mother. “We set the expectations too high for new mothers. I’m always telling women, ‘Don’t expect to not hate it. You’re going to feel and look terrible, and you’re going to wonder if you blew up your life. The cruel irony of it is, just at the time you’re loving it and you’ve got it down, you have to go back to work,'” Megyn said in a 2016 interview with Glamour.
“I did worry in the beginning, especially when I only had one kid, about whether I was a good mom, whether I was abandoning my duties,” Megyn continued. “[Now], I see them thriving; our loving relationship is more than intact. There’s no more of that, ‘Am I going to screw them up?’ I’m not.”
