Pieces of Hollywood history! Late showbiz icon Mickey Rooney‘s Best Actor Golden Globe and Emmy awards are hitting the auction block nearly four years after his death at age 93 in April 2014.

Mickey won both awards back in the early 1980s for his portrayal of Bill Sackter in the 1981 film Bill, which told the real-life story of a man who spent nearly 60 years institutionalized for an intellectual disability until he was invited to live in the Minnesota home of a documentary filmmaker. After appearing in two television movies and a feature-length documentary, Bill’s fame ultimately helped change national attitudes on persons with disabilities.

And now, the Golden Globe and Emmy that Mickey won for the memorable role are being auctioned off through Nate D. Sanders Auctions starting on Thursday, January 31. Bidding for the Golden Globe, which Mickey took home in 1982, will start at $6,000 while the 1981 Emmy award’s bidding will begin at $2,000, according to a Nate D. Sanders press release. Both are being sold by the Mickey Rooney estate.

During his more than nine-decade Hollywood career, Mickey won two Golden Globes, a Juvenile Academy Award, an honorary Oscar and one Emmy Award. In addition to his Bill Golden Globe and Emmy, the star was awarded the Juvenile Academy Award when he was 18 years old in 1936 alongside fellow actress Deanna Durbin for “their significant contribution in bringing to the screen the spirit and personification of youth, and as juvenile players setting a high standard of ability and achievement.”

He also won a Golden Globe in 1964 for Mickey and was presented with an honorary Academy Award in 1983 “in recognition of his 50 years of versatility in a variety of memorable film performances.”

In addition to his many beloved roles and accolades, Mickey was known for his eight Hollywood marriages and being a father to 11 children. He was famously hitched to actress Ava Gardner from 1942 to 1943, to singer B.J. Baker from 1944 until 1949, to actress Martha Vickers from 1949 to 1951, to actress Elaine Devry from 1952 until 1958, to Barbara Ann Thomason from 1958 until her death in 1966, to Marge Lane from 1966 to 1967, to Carolyn Hockett from 1969 to 1975 and to Jan Chamberlin for 34 years from 1978 until his death in 2014.
