Princess Diana’s Former Royal Butler Doesn’t Think William And Harry Are Growing Apart: ‘They Are Inseparable’ (Exclusive)

Royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry have always seemed to be super close. But over the last six months, it’s been heavily reported and rumored that the Duke of Cambridge, 36, and the Duke of Sussex, 34, have been growing apart, possibly because of Meghan Markle‘s addition to the British royal family.

However, Princess Diana‘s former royal butler, Paul Burrell, exclusively sounded off on the Princes’ current relationship in a new interview with Closer Weekly and revealed William and Harry have an “inseparable” bond that can never truly be broken. “I do not believe that William and Harry are growing apart. They may have differences, as they are two very different personalities, [but] I think that their life bond was forged at the time of their mother’s death and that they are inseparable,” Burrell told Closer.

As for the brothers’ differing personalities, Burrell described Harry as “firey and impulsive” while his older sibling, William, is “more calm and considered.” As for the reported feud between the two, Diana’s former butler said, “I have not noticed a rift between the two brothers. They are independent young men who still forge ahead together as a part of young team Windsor but have different roles and destinies.”

“This is exactly the press speculation [Queen Elizabeth] faced with her sister, Princess Margaret, the two were constantly compared yet they remained lifelong friends and were very close,” Burrell added.

As for how Harry’s wife, Meghan, 37, and her relationship with William’s wife, Kate Middleton, also 37, fits into all this, Burrell suggested the two women also likely have “differences of opinion” about their roles within the royal household. “They are different women with different roles from different cultures. Kate knows that Meghan is no threat to her and Meghan is mature enough to realize that her role is vastly different to Kate’s,” he explained.
