Reese Witherspoon Is Hitting the Road for Her Upcoming Book Tour — Get the Details!

How exciting! Reese Witherspoon just announced that she will be promoting her first book, Whiskey in a Teacup, in eight cities across the US including her hometown, Nashville, TN. On Monday, July 9, the 42-year-old actress shared details about her upcoming book tour on Instagram.

"Hey y'all! I’m so excited to share that I'm bringing #WhiskeyInATeacup to your city!" she wrote. "I'm gonna spill the tea on Southern living: food, beauty, decor, you name it — and I'll bring a special guest to each stop! So tag your besties and come chat with me!"

To accompany the great news, Reese shared a a funny four-way pic of herself sipping tea (see what she did there?) to hint at just how good her book will be. The mom-of-three also shared that she will be visiting Alabama, Kentucky, Washington, DC, North Carolina, and South Carolina on her upcoming trip.

The tour will start in New York in September, the same month that her book will be released, and end in Texas on Sept. 27, 2018. The Big Little Lies star previously teased Whiskey in a Teacup on Instagram earlier this month by sharing a photo of her newly-printed book covers. "WOW! Fresh off the printer! It's all happening! ? I can't wait for y’all to see my first ever book #WhiskeyInATeacup!!! ?," she captioned the behind-the-scenes pic.

Although Reese may be known for her legendary acting chops, she has been a bookworm for many years and even has her own book club on Instagram. Every month, she suggests a new novel for her almost 14 million followers to read.

This month, Reese suggested reading Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton and in June 2018, she recommended Something in the Water: A Novel by Catherine Steadman. Judging by these picks, we're sure that Reese's first book is going to be nothing short of amazing!
