Royal Family Wishes Kate Middleton A Happy 37th Birthday Via Social Media — See The Sweet Posts!

Happy Birthday, Kate Middleton! The Duchess of Cambridge is celebrating turning 37 years old today and her royal family posted the sweetest messages to Kate via social media on the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 9 to commemorate the special event. A tweet published to the official @RoyalFamily Twitter account read, “Happy Birthday to HRH The Duchess of Cambridge!” and featured a candid photo of Prince William’s wife chatting with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, at Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding back in October 2018.

Prince Andrew later retweeted that same message to his @TheDukeOfYork account, as did Kate’s in-laws, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on their official @ClarenceHouse account. On Wednesday, the @KensingtonRoyal Twitter also published a message thanking all of Kate’s fans for their well-wishes.

“Thank you, everyone, for all your lovely messages on The Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday,” the tweet read. In response to Kensington Palace’s message, many of Kate’s followers sent their own birthday wishes to the Duchess and mom-of-three. “Happy Birthday, Kate! You are an inspiration to many. Here’s hoping you have a lovely day with Will and the kiddies,” one person commented with another similarly writing, “Happy Birthday, Your Royal Highness Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge! You are amazing! You were born to fulfill this destiny, and you excel in every way. Thank you for all you do and for constantly being Prince William’s perfect Princess! Wishing you all the best.”

We’re sure Kate is having the best birthday today, as sources exclusively told Closer Weekly that the Duchess is spending her special day by having “adult time” with her mom, Carole Middleton. “Whilst [Prince George and Princess Charlotte] are at school during the day, Carole will celebrate with Kate by popping open a bottle of champagne and enjoying a nice lunch!” a source told us. The insider also revealed that Kate’s two eldest kids, George, 5, and Charlotte, 3 — she also shares baby son Prince Louis, 9 months, with husband William — handmade their mom birthday cards in their arts and crafts class at school. So cute!
