Shania Twain Just Revealed That She Once Peed Her Pants While Performing Onstage (Awkward!)

We wonder if Shania Twain still feels like a woman (see what we did there?) after making this hilariously embarrassing confession on live TV! While appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, Nov. 15, the 53-year-old country music icon revealed that she once peed her pants onstage during one of her concerts. Yes, seriously!

But instead of being humiliated in front of her fans, Shania told host Andy Cohen that she’s proud of the way she covered up the awkward gaffe. “I was very clever in this one moment. I stood up from my chair to get up and sing. I peed myself, and the puddle, I just knocked my glass of water over. I was wearing a skirt, thank goodness. I stood up, it all came out, I was dry,” she explained.

This actually isn’t the first time the “You’re Still The One” singer has found herself in a bathroom-related pickle, either. Shania also dished to Andy that she once got locked out of her hotel room in the middle of the night while trying to go to the bathroom.

“I was in Rome with my husband,” she said, adding that their hotel bathroom was totally minuscule. “I get out of bed. I went to bed naked that night, and I had to go for a pee and I opened up the wrong door and I ended up in the hallway.”

These hysterical stories seriously just make us love Shania even more than before! Lucky for us, the singer is back in the spotlight after taking an 11-year-hiatus from music. And not only has she returned to performing, but she’s additionally stepping into a new gig as a judge on the latest singing competition TV show, USA’s Real Country.

“I want to make a difference, and I want to encourage different,” Shania told Country Living on what she hopes to bring to the series. “I’m here as an advocate and a cheerleader of artists that have the courage to be themselves, and to be unique, and to not be out to please the industry and the industry’s parameters.”
