Shania Twain is getting candid about the 2008 affair her husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange, had with her best friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud — and revealed she doesn't regret the way her marriage ended.
"I can't say I would be better off [if he hadn't cheated] because I think I learned a lot from all of that. I don't regret it," the 49-year-old singer said in a new interview on Bravo's 'Watch What Happens Live.'

But when the show's host, Andy Cohen, asked what one thing she would like to say to Marie-Anne today, Shania said she'd tell her, "I wish I'd never met you."

"I think there are just some people in life you would say I wish I hadn't met that person or I would have been better off not knowing that person," she explained.

Following the affair, the star filed for divorce from her spouse — with whom she has a 13-year-old son, Eja — in June 2010 after seven years of marriage. But perhaps the strangest twist in this story is that Shania later tied the knot with Marie-Anne's ex-husband, Frédéric Thiébaud, in 2011!
