Shemar Moore’s Daughter Frankie Is the Light of His Life! Inside the ‘S.W.A.T.’ Actor’s Family

Shemar Moore is proud to be the doting dad of daughter Frankie! The S.W.A.T. actor welcomed his precious baby girl with girlfriend Jesiree Dizon in January 2023.

All About Shemar Moore’s Daughter Frankie

Shemar announced Frankie’s arrival on Instagram in January 2023, writing, “Ya boy is officially a Dad!!! Dreams come true!! The rest of my life is here!”

Frankie arrived two weeks early, but Shemar explained the significance of Jesiree’s initial February 8 due date.

“I’m Shemar Moore, 52½ years old. My mother is in heaven, right now it’ll be the three-year anniversary on February 8,” he told viewers on The Jennifer Hudson Show before Frankie was born. “And on February 8, I’m going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy.”

“I’m so excited. I’m sorry she can’t be here,” he said. “I was worried for a while that it was a ‘that ship has sailed’ kind of thing but God had my back, and things lined up.”

Since Frankie’s birth, Shemar has been proudly documenting all of her milestones on social media, including when she said “da da” for the first time.

When Frankie was 3 months old, she appeared on The Talk with her parents. “I honestly just follow her lead. She’s so warm, loving. She’s there, she’s in the moment,” Shemar said.

Also during the appearance, Shemar explained how he and Jesiree’s relationship came to be.

“We actually dated 15 years ago, and to be honest, it was wonderful,” he revealed. “I just wasn’t ready for that settled down, family thing. I got a little spooked.”

After his mom died in 2020, Jesiree came back into his life. “Then God is good and I think Mom’s karma brought us back full circle. And here we are,” he said.

Jesiree is a mom of two kids from previous relationships, son Kayden and daughter Charli.

Does Shemar Moore Want More Kids?

Shemar opened up about whether or not he would like to have more kids in the future.

“Possibly. But I ain’t no Spring Chicken and Ms. Thing [Jesiree], she’s already got two wonderful kids — her son, Kayden, who’s 17, and her little daughter Charlie, who’s 6 — and they’re sweethearts,” he told People in June 2024. “And then we got little Frankie. We got our dog, Tyson. So we got a full house.”

The California native is savoring every moment of being a dad to little Frankie.

“Frankie’s given me a new lease on life. She’s now my purpose,” he told Good Housekeeping in March 2024. “Everything’s a little brighter. Everything’s exciting again. “I’m not being fabulous for me anymore. It’s not about me anymore. It’s about her. Yes, I’m going to take care of myself. Yes, I’m going to still strive for success. But I’m doing that to make Frankie proud.”

“You know, most of my whole life was trying to make my [late] mother [Marilyn] proud,” Shemar shared. “Now, I want to do that for Frankie. Because I ain’t gonna be here forever. So, in that time, I’m going to give Frankie everything I got, just like my mother did for me.”
