Arnold Schwarzenegger and Son Patrick, 26, Bond During Fun Bike Ride Around L.A.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and son Patrick Schwarzenegger broke quarantine for a fun bike ride around Los Angeles. The iconic Terminator star and his 26-year-old were spotted bonding while enjoying some exercise on Thursday, June 4.

The 72-year-old doting dad looked like he was a man on a mission as he and Patrick raced through the streets of L.A. Arnold had a jacket and shorts on during their father-son ride, but at one point, he was seen showing off his big muscles as he ditched the zip-up hoodie.

The beloved actor proved he’s had no shortage of fitness despite being in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic. Aside from his multiple bike outings around L.A., Arnold has kept his fit physique in pristine shape while working out at home.

In late May, the former Governor of California — who shares Patrick and kids Katherine, 30, Christina, 28, and Christopher, 22, with Maria Shriver — showed off his routine while exercising with pet donkey Lulu.

“Lulu pumps up,”  the Commando star hilariously captioned his post, which showed Arnold and his furry friend as they performed some calisthenics around the house. “Donkey raises,” he joked while working out his calves on a machine.

The Golden Globe winner’s son Patrick couldn’t help but tease his dad for his laugh-worthy content. “I can’t,” the Midnight Sun actor quipped alongside three laughing emojis.

Whether they’re hitting the red carpet as a family or cracking jokes with each other on social media, you can always find Arnold and Patrick with big smiles on their faces. During their first-ever interview together for GQ Germany in June 2019, the Predator actor and son opened up about their close bond.

“We have a great father-son relationship … and we also have a great friendship,” he shared with the outlet at the time. “My vision was to create great kids.”

Patrick even marveled at how lucky he feels to have such an amazing father. “My dad has always taught us kids… follow your passion, what you love,” the Scream Queens actor sweetly insisted. “And if you follow those things then ultimately you’re going to be successful.”
