‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 35 Just Dropped Its Biggest Cast Tease Yet

Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premieres September 15, and even though the show won’t release the full celeb cast and pro partner list until September 2, the reality TV series just teased the identities of five new couples!

The official Dancing with the Stars Instagram account shared a mysterious post on Tuesday afternoon, revealing the new “stars.” But if you’re thinking that you can get a sneak peek at the who’s who of Season 35, you’re going to have to wait until the Good Morning America reveal on Wednesday.

What does the hyped-up hint really show? The five-photo Instagram carousel features glam pics of the new couples. And while fans will get a full view of the mystery celebs’ and pros’ costumes, they won’t see their faces. Instead, DWTS camouflaged each couple with strategically placed mirror balls.

Even though the preview hides the cast’s true identities, fans are already trying to sleuth out the mystery. One commenter responded, “I feel like slide 3 could be Mark if he’s a pro again,” while others disagreed. Another fan wrote, “Mark is in slide 5,” and yet another replied, “Doesn’t Mark do the pants chain?” An eagle-eyed viewer said, of the photos in question, “No tattoos.” But then someone else pointed out, “They edited out his tattoos in last season’s reveal as well.”

Another DWTS detective attempted to guess each couple, posting, “1. Daniella and Tyler, 2. Jenna and ??, 3. Brandon and Ciara, 4. Ezra and Julia. Maybe Maura and Mark again…I have no idea.”

But the guesswork didn’t stop there. Sherlock-like fans added, “Last one is Sarah Jane Nader“, “I think 4 is Ciara & Brandon! Maura is definitely the lady in the last photo and could Julia & Ezra be number 3?”, “Second one is the most Harry and Jenna photo I’ve ever seen”, “3 is definitely Jackson but idk if that’s Emma or Sharna. I can’t twll,” and “1. Ezra French and Daniella, 2. Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna, 3. Giada De Laurentis and Alan, 4. Ciara Miller and Brandon, 5. Maura Higgins and Mark.”

If you’re keeping track, as of now, the fans think… well, they can’t agree on anything other than that Mark is in at least one of the photos, Jenna is somewhere, and no one really knows. Don’t worry if you can’t figure out the mirror ball riddle. Dancing with the Stars will announce the full cast list, faces and all, Wednesday morning on GMA.
