Exes Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow Now Reportedly on Good Terms: ‘Things Are Totally Cool Between Them’

It sounds like Brad Pitt is on a reconciliation tour! The World War Z actor reunited with Jennifer Aniston earlier this month at her 50th birthday party, but she isn’t the only ex he’s been in contact with lately. According to Radar Online, Brad is apparently now on speaking terms with former flame Gwyneth Paltrow as well.

“She and Brad had some awkwardness between them for many years and didn’t speak,” a source recently told the outlet. “It was one of those cases where they broke up on poor terms, even though Gwyneth would say nice things about him in interviews.”

Perhaps the former couple experienced awkwardness considering the 55-year-old hunk reportedly “always felt a little sheepish and saw no real reason to get in touch.” The insider added, “they’ve bumped into each other a few times at parties in the Hollywood Hills and now things are totally cool between them.” Brad and Gwyn, 46, even supposedly saw each other recently. “They had a nice exchange at Jen’s party too, apparently,” the source dished. “Which would have been great for everyone to see.”

Though the years of Brad and Gwyn as a couple are long over, the pair started dating in 1994, got engaged and split in 1997. After being married to Jen, 50, from 2000 until 2005, the Fury actor then moved on with Angelina Jolie, whom he married in 2014 and shares six children with. Brad and Angie, unfortunately, broke it off too in 2016.

As for Gwyn, the Goop lifestyle guru tied the knot with Chris Martin in 2003 and had two children with the Coldplay frontman before the duo called it quits in 2016 after nearly 13 years of marriage. Since then, the Iron Man star has moved on with Brad Falchuk, whom she married in September 2018. Gwyn is so happy in her new relationship that even her mom recently gushed about how great her second marriage is.

While attending the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hill on February 4, Blythe Danner revealed to Us Weekly that Gwyn is “very” happy with her second husband. “They’re having a great time,” the Hollywood star, 76, dished to the outlet. Though she’s loved and lost, Gwyn has maintained a great relationship with her ex-hubby, Chris, so since she’s said to be on good terms with Brad, too, we’re so happy to hear that they have no bad blood!
