Josh Brolin Adores Being a Dad of 4! Meet the ‘Deadpool’ Actor’s Blended Family

Josh Brolin may portray a superhero in the hit Avengers movies, but in real life, he’s a superdad to his four kids, Trevor, Eden, Westlyn and Chapel. The Deadpool star is so proud as he watches his children grow up before his very eyes.

Josh became a father with his first wife, Alice Adair. The former couple — who tied the knot in 1988 — welcomed their eldest child, Trevor, that same year. The pair’s second child, daughter Eden, arrived six years later in 1994 before they called it quits in 1996.

The Sicario star moved on with his second wife, Diane Lane. Josh walked down the aisle with the Unfaithful actress in 2004, but the pair held off from having any kiddos together. Ultimately, the lovebirds divorced in 2013.

The doting dad gave love another shot when he met his third wife, Kathryn Boyd. The SAG Award winner and the professional model exchanged vows in 2016 and less than two years later, they welcomed their daughter, Westlyn. The couple then expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter, Chapel, in December 2020.

Josh might be busy with Hollywood gigs, but nothing is more important than his role as a dad. At the time the Goonies alum and his wife revealed their pregnancy in July 2020, Josh and Kathryn were over the moon about their little bundle of joy.

“The Brolin’s are a growin’!!” the proud mama gushed alongside a photo with her hubby and Westlyn. “Our little December babe is on the way.”

Following the good news of Josh’s fourth child, his dad, James Brolin, dished how happy he was for the blended brood. The Life in Pieces actor said he and wife Barbra Streisand were “jumping” for joy when Josh and Kathryn told them about their new grandbaby.

“First, they told us very early on and said, ‘Don’t tell anybody,’ and I think that’s because [Kathryn] wanted to have her sonograms back and be sure of everything,” James gushed to Closer in August 2020. “And then, when they found out it was another girl and [they] told us, we just were jumping up and down.”

James, who couldn’t be more in love with his “darling” granddaughter Westlyn, insisted he’s so excited about having another tot running around the house. “You get another one like this one, there couldn’t be anything better!” he added.
