Kelly Ripa Shares Photos of Christmas Decor in $27 Million NYC Home After Christmas Tree Snafu

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are ushering in the holiday season with a perfectly decorated Christmas tree in their $27 million home! The Live With Kelly and Mark cohosts showed off their beautiful living room in their New York City townhouse as Christmas approaches.

On Sunday, December 8, Kelly, 54, shared a photo of the tree on her Instagram page. It was decked out in colorful ornaments and lights, with a star at the top. Fans were left in amazement by the gorgeous tree, which sits at the center of the living room.

“Behold the lady [Christmas tree emoji] even the trees are skinny this year #treezempic?” Kelly captioned her photo.

“Now that is a Christmas tree. Love all the festive colors,” someone commented underneath the post, while another person said, “Gorgeous as always!”

During an episode of Live on Monday, December 9, Kelly explained that she and Mark, 53, initially had a different tree in mind for their home.

“We had two trees this year. One arrived and it was too big for us to fit in our house,” the All My Children alum told the audience. “The Christmas tree is a big deal for me every year, it’s what I look forward to. And when the tree arrived, and they cut it open, it was like a scene out of [National Lampoon’s Christmas] Vacation. The entire tree became [huge] It was like a bloomin’ onion.”

She said that the first tree didn’t fit because “it was the width of the room, so the entire room became the tree.” They ended up getting a different tree for their home to better fit inside of their living room.

“So, we got what I like to call Treezempic, or Pinejaro. She’s skinny, don’t skinny-shame her. She’s sensitive about it,” Kelly quipped, referring to popular weight loss medications. “She’s been exercising every day. She’s beautiful,” Ripa continues. “But when I tell you, hanging ornaments on this tree … even the lightest ornament and the branches are like, ‘I can’t.’”

Regardless of the snafu, the tree looks gorgeous. Kelly and Mark also posed for a selfie in front of the tree, which was shared in her Instagram Stories. It’s become a custom for Kelly to show off her Christmas tree on Instagram each year and it’s always something fans look forward to.

“Always so pretty,” one person wrote in an Instagram comment, while another said, “Still a beauty as always.”

At the start of last week, Kelly said that she was preparing for her tree to be decorated, writing, “She’s almost ready.” The Emmy winner shared a closeup video of some of the ornaments hanging on the branches, including some personalized ones with her family members’ names and initials on them.

Kelly and Mark share kids Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Though their children are not currently living at home, it’s clear the proud parents love having their kids come to visit their Manhattan pad during the holidays. Last year, their two eldest children appeared in a holiday cooking segment on Live ahead of Christmas.

“Well, well, well, the chickens are back in the coop for the holidays. Michael and Lola are here with a fun, festive holiday recipe for the Consuelos gingerbread cookies. So please welcome Lola and Michael Consuelos,” Kelly told the audience with a smile.
