Lori Loughlin Marks Her 62nd Birthday With a New Chapter Ahead

Full House and When Calls the Heart star Lori Loughlin celebrated her 62nd birthday on July 28. After navigating several difficult years, the actress is embracing a new chapter as Hallmark fans eagerly await her return to two beloved franchises.

Fans celebrated Loughlin’s birthday online, and the birthday wishes quickly turned into excitement over her upcoming Hallmark projects. She has reprised her role as Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart, and as the network recently revealed, she is starring in a new Garage Sale Mystery movie soon, too.

On Facebook, one fan commented, “Happy birthday and I cannot wait to see the new garage mysteries. Love it.”

Another fan on Facebook wrote, “Happy Birthday Lori looking forward to watching you on Garage Mysteries and When Calls the Heart.”

An additional comment read, “Happy Birthday to an amazing actress, hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and all your favorite things!”

Loughlin’s Hallmark return comes several years after her involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal. Hallmark parted ways with the actress after her 2019 arrest.

She later served two months in prison, completed 100 hours of community service, and gradually returned to acting.

Not only did Loughlin have to overcome the public backlash and legal consequences of the “Varsity Blues” legal situation, but in 2025, Loughlin and her husband of nearly 30 years, Mossimo Giannulli, separated.

In March, Loughlin joined the When Calls the Heart cast on stage at a Hallmark event. She noted that everyone with Hallmark has been “welcoming me with open arms,” which has been “so good for my soul.”

After making a surprise appearance in the When Calls the Heart Season 13 finale, Loughlin is expected to appear in several Season 14 episodes. She has also teased that her new Garage Sale Mystery movie will premiere this fall, giving Hallmark fans plenty to look forward to.
