Lucy Liu Partners With Famed Designer to Create a Chic New Shoe

Lucy Liu is quite the fashionista!

The 47-year-old actress recently designed a new shoe — a gorgeous pair of nude and silver two-toned pumps — as part of a partnership with Italian designer Bruno Magli.

“I like a shoe that becomes classic and is not something that is so of that season all the time,” she told People Style in a new interview. “I wanted to bring a little bit of that classic style that they have but I also wanted to make it special in the sense of the dual-tone shoe.”

The $475 pair of heels — which will become available in the US in three years! — are Lucy's way of giving back to UNICEF, a non-profit she's supported for more than a decade. The brand will donate part of the shoe's sale proceeds to the organization.

“I love the aspect of doing something that’s creative and it also contributes to a great cause,” she added. “I used to do a lot of missions, and I’ve seen how very little these kids have. I think it’s a nice idea not just have Bruno Magli just coming back but actually have something that it’s connected to. That makes it a little more important, don’t you think?
