Marie Osmond’s One True Love Is Steve Craig! See the Longtime Couple’s Relationship Timeline

True love will always find its way back, just ask Marie Osmond and her longtime husband, Steve Craig. The Donny and Marie alum has been through a lot over the years, but she couldn’t imagine what life would be life had she not reconnected with Steve in the late 2000s.

Marie and Steve’s romantic love story dates back to 1982 when she married her husband for the first time. The “Paper Roses” songstress welcomed their only child together, son Stephen, in 1983, but the two called it quits in 1985.

After they got divorced, Marie moved on with her second husband, Brian Blosil, in 1986. The couple became the loving parents of their children — Jessica, Rachael, Brianna, Brandon, Matthew, Abigail and late son Michael Bryan — before going their separate ways after 21 years of marriage in 2007.

Fortunately for Marie, she reunited with Steve just years later. In 2011, the former-pair proved their marriage was always meant to be as they walked down the aisle for the second time. Looking back, Marie couldn’t be more grateful that she gave love another shot — which is something she actually gives her late dad, George Osmond, credit for.

“Because of my dad’s heart, I had the courage to try again with the love of my life (who had one of the best dads ever as well),” the Talk alum wrote via Instagram in June 2020. “I am so grateful I did because my husband is just like my dad in so many ways.”

Marie said she wanted to give Steve another chance following their divorce because he emulated the way her dad showed love for his wife, Olive Osmond. “The way he treated her taught me what it meant to be loyal to someone through good and bad times,” she explained. “Through his example by how he loved my mom, I knew not to ever settle for less as a woman, and I didn’t.”

It’s no surprise Marie is over the moon considering she revealed their relationship is better than ever. “I’m in love for the first time in my life — like really in love — and it’s probably the most wonderful experience I’ve had,” Marie sweetly gushed to Closer Weekly in October 2019. “Truly in love.”

Marie noted they don’t have to be doing anything lavish or adventurous to have a good time. “We sit and watch TV and eat popcorn,” she explained. “We’re very low-key. We like to go camping. We like outside and outdoors. He loves to bike. Really, we’re both just kind of easy, mellow. We’re best friends. He really is an amazing man.”
