Martha Stewart’s First Date Rule: “I Let The Man Plan The Dates!”
Millionaire businesswoman Martha Stewart has certainly made a name for herself with a lifestyle empire that includes magazines, a cooking show, cookbooks and even paint colors!
But now, the mogul has switched her focus to finding a man! "There are no 'no-no's,' she tells In Touch magazine about keeping an open mind during a first date.
And while it's been nine months since the 72-year-old launched her online dating profile on Match.com, she still hasn't budged on one of her first date philosophies!
“It’s best to let [the man] plan,” Stewart explains, “because you get to know really fast if you want to go out with them again!"
So what does the talk show host like to do on a first date? "You don’t get to talk at the movies, so it’s much better to go out for a fun, delicious meal and get to know the person,” she shares.
One thing the accomplished chef wants eligible men to know…don't be intimidated to cook for her!
"Men cook for me all the time!" Stewart says. "If they want to cook, they can cook.”
