Meghan Markle’s Effortless Elegance and Style Will Make Her the Perfect Princess

Does anyone else think that Meghan Markle's princess style is already amazing? The soon-to-be-royal is already shining as she heads out to events with future husband Prince Harry, and though she's been working on some serious princess training for a while now, we're pretty sure she already had all the grace and elegance it takes to be a part of Britain's ruling family. After all, she and Princess Diana had a lot in common, something we're hardly the only ones to notice.

"Meghan, standing shoulder to shoulder with Harry, will be a princess for the people," actress Priyanka Chopra wrote in a not-so-subtle nod to Diana's nickname as "the people's princess" for TIME's annual 100 Most Influential People list. "With her, what you see is real, and what you get is a relatable young woman with her heart and mind in the right place. Her compassion, evident in the causes she supports, and her drive to break down stereotypes—obvious in her actions—will connect her to a generation in much need of kindness." It's obvious just from looking at Meghan that she possesses everything she needs to be an amazing example for everyone around her.

And it seems to come pretty easy, too! Not only is she incredibly chic, but she's also smart, thoughtful, and kind. And on top of all that, she's also incredibly considerate of her fiancé and his family, even working in tributes to Harry's late mom at their nuptials. Seeing Meghan attending all kind of events with Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, and stepping into the position of a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador, it's clear that she's more than fully equipped to handle her new role. Sure, she may not technically become Princess Meghan — her official title will be Her Royal Highness Princess Henry of Wales, and maybe also Duchess of Connaught — but it's clear she's practically a princess already.
