Robert Wagner, Wife Jill St. John Celebrate 36 Years of Marriage
Hollywood icon Robert Wagner and his wife, Jill St. John, are celebrating 36 years of marital bliss.
On Tuesday, May 26, the 96-year-old actor took to Instagram to share the couple’s milestone with the world.
“36 years of love and laughter with my beautiful Jill. Happy Anniversary, my love,” he captioned an Instagram photo of the pair in which he kisses her cheek.
The couple also received celebratory remarks from some of their close Hollywood pals, including Mia Farrow, who commented, “Happy Anniversary to you both!! Sending very much love.”
Wagner and St. John, 85, first met in the 1950s when they were both contract players at Fox, according to People magazine. They reconnected decades later, in 1981, after St. John sent Wagner flowers and a note of sympathy after the drowning death of his wife, Natalie Wood.
The couple tied the knot in 1990.
Wagner detailed just how grateful he is to have St. John in his life in a similar post last year, marking their 35th wedding anniversary.
“35 years of love, laughter and partnership with my beautiful Jill. Every day by your side has been a blessing. Happy Anniversary, my love,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
