Selma Blair Looks So Happy While Out With Ex Jason Bleick and Son Arthur
You would never know that Selma Blair is currently dealing with multiple sclerosis, as the star was all smiles while out with her ex-boyfriend Jason Bleick and their son Arthur.
On Saturday, February 1, the happy trio were spotted in Studio City down in Los Angeles, as they all shared laughs with one another. Selma, 47, and Jason, 50, first started dating in 2010, and welcomed their only son, 8, together in 2011. However, the couple didn’t last, as they would part ways in 2012. But while they are not together anymore, they remain extremely close and do all they can to have a successful coparenting relationship.
The Cruel Intentions star once took some time to gush over Jason in a sweet post on his special day. “Father’s Day. Arthur’s dad. He will always know the love of his dad,” she wrote via Instagram on June 16. “And his mom. My dad loved me too. But I never really felt the closeness. Circumstance. Or the people we were. He died without meeting my son. But we had a plan for it. But … My son met him in his casket. A stranger. His grandfather.”
“I still feel unresolved miscommunication. Impossible moments. But this man next to me. Arthur’s father … we love our son so big and our son knows. Truth,” she continued. “So we are doing just fine. This odd family. Thank you @jasonbleick Happy Father’s Day. See you soon. With love. Your cotton cloudy partner in magic.”
Both Jason and Arthur have been extremely supportive through Selma’s battle too. “He’s had to endure a lot; he’s seen a lot,” The Legally Blonde costar told People of her little one having to see his mom go through obstacles, including watching her fall down stairs or rush to a bathroom if she’s feeling sick. “He says, ‘Mommy’s not sick. Mommy’s brave.'”
The youngster even loves spending time with his mom at school. “He said, ‘I love when you come to school because you make the kids laugh and you answer all their questions,” Selma revealed to the outlet. So sweet!
