Can you believe the Talk cohosts make so much money? The stars of the hit CBS show have some extraordinary net worths. While there’s no question whether they earned their spot on The Talk, these TV personalities have all taken different routes to get to where they are today.

The Talk — which first aired in October 2010 when Sara Gilbert created the program — features discussions about current events, pop culture and much more. Originally, Sara starred alongside Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini.

Following the first season, Marissa, Holly and Leah said their goodbyes and were replaced by Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler in 2011. While the Archer actress cohosted the show until season 7, Sheryl has kept her spot at the talk show’s table ever since.

Aisha departed the show in 2017, and her role was filled by Eve ahead of the program’s eighth season. Carrie Ann Inaba signed on for the following season, replacing Julie, who parted ways with The Talk after eight seasons in 2018.

The Talk experienced its biggest change when Sara announced she was leaving the series in April 2019. Though her slot was filled with Marie Osmond, the “Paper Roses” songstress announced her exit from the show after one year in October 2020. The following month, Eve revealed she was also leaving the talk show after four seasons.

Marie and Eve are no longer familiar faces on the Emmy-winning series, but the program’s fans weren’t left empty-handed. In December 2020, The Talk revealed theater actress Amanda Kloots and author Elaine Welteroth were set to join the cast for season 11 in January 2021.

However, the program experienced several change-ups once again when CBS announced Sharon was parting ways with The Talk after more than a decade in March 2021. The TV star’s exit came after Sharon was involved in a tense confrontation on the show, which ultimately led to an investigation into claims that she made racist and homophobic remarks in the past, which she denied. “As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her cohosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace,” CBS said in a statement at the time.

Just one month later in April, the series lost another cohost when Carrie Ann announced she was taking a “leave of absence” to focus on her “well-being.” Unfortunately for fans, the Dancing With the Stars judge made her hiatus permanent, confirming she “mutually agreed to part ways” with CBS in August. At the end of the month, Elaine also confirmed she was saying goodbye.

Despite letting go of five cohosts in one year, Jerry O’Connell made history when he joined the daytime talk show as the first male host in July. In September 2021, it was announced that former NFL star Akbar Gbajabiamila would be joining the show officially as a cohost. One month later, Natalie Morales also joined The Talk after more than 20 years as an anchor on NBC News.
