Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s Son Moses Spends Some Quality Time With His Dad on His Birthday

What a day! Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin‘s son, Moses, had an awesome time for his 14th birthday. Not only did his mom surprise him with a “socially distanced birthday parade,” but he also got to spend some quality time with his dad.

The duo were spotted going for a walk around the neighborhood in Malibu on Wednesday, April 8. While they were out and about, something seemed to have caught the musician’s eye because he kept pointing to the sky. Soon enough, Moses was looking up too and after a few minutes, they began laughing at something hysterical.

All in all, it looked like the two had a really amazing day. Moses will never forget the time he spent with his dad or the awesome shout-out he got from his mom.

“This kid is the best and he is 14 today,” Gwyn gushed about the teen on Instagram. “Unbelievable. He is the kindest little man and he has the most unique way of looking at the world and expressing himself. Mosey, I could not be more proud of you in every way. You conquer all you set out to do, you never quit, you are immensely talented and a great friend. I hope you never stop hugging me goodbye when you go into the next room. I love you.” Aww!

Chris shares Moses and his 15-year-old daughter, Apple, with the Shallow Hal star. Since their 2016 divorce, the pair had to learn the best way to coparent their kids without affecting the family dynamic at home.

“You have to constantly let go. You have to let go of old ideas, old resentments. You have to put the kids first, which I think people have the idea of that, but then oftentimes, you struggle with it.” Gwyneth admitted to Entertainment Tonight in a 2016 interview. “If you once loved the person enough to have kids with them, you have to focus on what you still love about them and what’s beautiful about them and all the good aspects of your relationship. You still want a family, you’re just not in a couple. So, I acknowledge we’ve done it in an unorthodox way but it’s working for us.”
