Is Drew Scott trading in his realty license for dancing shoes for good? Fans are extremely worried that he will be leaving his hit HGTV series Property Brothers for ABC’s competition series Dancing With the Stars and even though he seems to be having a great time training for the shows upcoming premiere, it looks like he’s still going to find a way to bring his home renovation background onto the dance floor.
Drew was paired up with pro dancer Emma Slater for his run on Season 25 of DWTS and for his first performance on the show, Drew will show off his moves during a routine to Madness’ 1982 hit “Our House.” He even revealed that there is an added benefit to his training regimen — since he started practicing, Drew has shed 27 pounds. “I haven’t been this trim in probably 15-20 years and I feel great,” the 39-year-old told People. “Who knew dancing was such an amazing workout!”
But Property Brothers fans shouldn’t worry about him quitting the show because Drew is making sure that he’s fitting in his DWTS training schedule in between all of his other commitments that he has coming up this fall.
“I’ll be filming two of my shows up in Toronto and one of my shows in L.A. And the Sept. 18 premiere comes right in the middle of our book tour to promote our book, which comes out Sept. 5, so Emma and I will be rehearsing in a different city every night,” Drew explained to People. “But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. And I’m going to learn how to dance just a few months before my wedding. That’s going to be amazing.”

This isn’t the first time Drew sparked rumors that he’s leaving Property Brothers, though. Back in June, reports claimed that he was leaving the show in order to start a skincare line, but in an interview with Extra, he debunked it as “fake news.”
