Drew Scott Hints He And His Wife Are ‘Having Kids Soon’ After Asking Joanna Gaines For Hand-Me-Downs

It sounds like Drew Scott‘s next project is going to be designing a nursery! The Property Brothers star recently dropped some hints that he and his wife, Linda Phan, are coming down with a case of baby fever. On Saturday, Jan. 12, Drew wrote a comment on fellow HGTV star Joanna Gaines‘ Instagram photo of her 6-month-old son, Crew Gaines, sleeping on her lap.

“I think it’s time for the next size up,” the former Fixer Upper host said of her little bundle of joy’s striped onesie. Drew chimed in offering to assist the mom-of-five. “We’ll be having kids soon, so I’ll hit you up for hand-me-downs,” he wrote along with two smiley face emojis.

Ever since Drew, 40, and his bride, Linda, 33, tied the knot during a romantic ceremony in Italy in May 2018, fans of the home decor guru have been awaiting some baby news. “Woohoo! Those will be some beautiful hand-me-downs. Looking forward to seeing beautiful Linda with a little baby bump!” one follower wrote in the comments section of Joanna’s post. “Holy smokes! I can’t wait to see you and Linda as parents,” said another.

Perhaps becoming a dad has been on Drew’s mind for a while now, especially since the brown-haired hunk gushed about having a baby around the time of his wedding. “We’re excited to have kids,” the twin brother of Jonathan Scott admitted to People in May. “I think Linda and I will be great parents, and we’re excited to start that chapter of our lives.”

In fact, the couple already knows what they are hoping for when the time comes to add to their little family. “We’re thinking three or four kids, so I want to just have triplets! Get it out of the way,” Drew exclusively joked to Closer Weekly at CTAM’s TCA Summer Press Day for HGTV in July 2018 about having a baby a few months following the couple’s lavish wedding. “Linda even said, ‘How about two sets of twins? That’d be great!’ and I was, like, ‘You say that now, but let’s wait until that first set to see how you feel!’”

We’ve seen how good Drew is with his clients’ little kiddos on Property Brothers, therefore we have no doubt he’ll be a great dad. We can’t wait to hear some more baby news from the happy couple!
