Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas Bonded Over Healthy Living: ‘He’s a Reformed Hell-Raiser Himself’

Heather Locklear has the look of love!

One week after she made a glowing appearance at daughter Ava Sambora‘s Saturday, May 16 wedding, an insider tells Closer the Dynasty icon is feeling more confident than she has in decades — thanks in no small part to her romance with fellow ’80s star Lorenzo Lamas.

“Right now is a real sweet spot in her life,” says the insider. “She’s enjoying it to the max.”

According to the insider, the actress, 64, and the actor, 68, share a passion for healthy living, which has helped them integrate seamlessly into each other’s lives.

“He’s a reformed hell-raiser himself,” the insider notes. “So some of their favorite pastimes are going on hikes, cooking organic food together and working up a sweat in the gym!”

What a difference a year makes: It was just last May that People revealed the Melrose Place beauty had split from her high school sweetheart fiancé Chris Heisser following a five-year engagement.

As Closer previously reported, the pair made headlines in 2018 after she was arrested for felony domestic violence, allegedly lashing out at her then-boyfriend over infidelity.

The charges were later dropped.

“It’s been a rough journey that’s had more than a few low points,” acknowledges the insider. “But Heather’s the ultimate fighter.”

Now, the insider says Lamas — who went public with Locklear in April — is helping to bring out the best version of the blonde bombshell.

“She’s got such a spring in her step,” the insider raves. “This romance is bringing Heather so much happiness.”
