Kelly Clarkson’s Daughter River Rose Has a Crush on Chris Martin: “I Want to Kiss Him!”

How cute is this?! Singer Kelly Clarkson‘s daughter, River Rose Blackstock, wasn’t afraid to profess her love for Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in an adorable new clip that her famous mom shared on Tuesday, Aug. 8. In the Twitter video, River, 4, gushed about Chris, 41, and even admitted she wants to “kiss him!”

“I think he’s beautiful,” Kelly’s little girl shared. “I like his song and I want to kiss him.” River loves Coldplay’s song “Yellow” so much that she then began to adorably sing the lyrics per her mom’s request. Watch the cute video below!

“I love that you love Chris Martin,” Kelly told her daughter. “You have good taste.” Apparently, now that River is getting older, she loves to talk about boys with her mom and Kelly is always happy to listen.

“So my daughter wants to marry Chris Martin and is obsessed with his song ‘Yellow,'” the “Meaning of Life” singer captioned the video. “She wants to marry the boy in the video, which I have informed her he is not a boy anymore and has kids older than her but she will have none of it, she is determined.”

In a recent interview with People, Kelly gushed that she loves the fearless woman River is growin up to be. “I love that [River] is very bold, and she’s progressive,” the mom-of-two shared. “She’s just very grown up and very boss. I don’t want my daughter to be a pushover when she’s older. So that’s an awesome thing, it’s an awesome aspect of her character.”

“At the same time, you also want to have an adult that doesn’t think they’re right all the time,” she added. “But toddlers are just so egocentric and it’s just a stage that some people don’t grow out of, let’s be real. But mine will.”
