Two days after his “Fast & Furious” costar Paul Walker died in a horrific car accident, Vin Diesel visited the site of the 40-year-old actor’s death and spoke to the crowd of mourners assembled.
"If he could see for himself that all of you have showed up to show my brother love at this hard time, and the family gets to see all of you show the love that you've shown Paul, it's going to stay with me forever," the 46-year-old said over a police car loudspeaker in a video posted by KTLA-TV.
Diesel went on to thank the crowd gathered at the makeshift memorial saying, “Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciated him."
The action star also added a personal message of gratitude to his Facebook page, referring to the fallen actor by his “Fast & Furious” character, Brian.
"I will always love you Brian,” Diesel wrote, “as the brother you were… on and off screen."
Since Walker’s death on Nov. 30, tributes from fellow actors and show-business insiders have been pouring in over Facebook and Twitter.

On Monday, Walker’s family posted a statement to the actor’s Facebook page thanking fans for the support they have received.
"Paul Walker's family appreciates the outpouring of love and goodwill from his many fans and friends," the statement says. "They have asked, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, that donations please be made to Paul's charity Reach Out Worldwide."
"It's comforting for them to know that the son, brother, and father they love so much is equally adored, respected, and appreciated by so many,” the statement continued. “Paul founded the organization with the genuine desire to help others, and it's important to his family to keep his memory alive through ROWW."
