A wedding is on the horizon for one of the twins on HGTV’s hit series Property Brothers. But, being that Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott are identical twins, many fans are wondering which brother is the one who’s actually engaged!
Which Property Brother is engaged?
Turns out, Drew — who is teaming up with Chase Home Lending and Google with Jonathan to share tips about home buying and renovating as part of the “Search for Home Snapshot” — popped the question to his longtime lady, Linda Phan, in mid-December. When is the wedding?
The wedding is set for this upcoming May, which means their big day is only six months away! However, it took Drew and Linda a little bit of time to pick a date for their special day. Back in July, Drew shared with Closer Weekly, “We’re looking at spring. If we want to do spring we really need to move fast because we need to let people know when to lock us a date.”
Where is the wedding going to be?
“It’s going to be a destination wedding. We’re going to be going overseas,” Drew told Closer over the summer. And now, it’s been revealed that the wedding will take place in Italy!
“We’re looking at somewhere where we can chow down on pizza, pasta, and gelato. Those are the requirements,” Linda told People, adding that they haven’t picked a venue yet, but she’d love to have it at an old castle.
Drew added, “This is our big day—we can do whatever we want! One of the things that I love about Linda is that she’s with me in that sense. If I want to wear a gold leotard, I’ll do it. We’re not ones to have a basic white wedding.”
How is Drew finding time to plan a wedding while competing on Dancing With the Stars?
We’re sure the couple has been so busy planning their wedding, especially with Drew’s latest commitment! Drew has appeared on Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars alongside his pro partner, Emma Slater! And it seems Linda has been busy supporting her hubby in rehearsals and live shows while sneaking in wedding planning here and there. Since Drew is still in the competition, he’s been on the show every Monday night for the past few months — and will appear in the finals tonight!
Drew even joked that his and Linda’s first dance will be an “epic” performance. “I feel like I have a little more pressure because I don’t know a thing about dance,” Linda joked. “Drew has just had a few intense months of training!”

Who will be attending the wedding?
As for the guest list, you can count on some of your favorite HGTV faces being there — and hopefully, some of your favorite DWTS stars as well! “We have so many people that are like family that are other hosts on the network and who we will definitely be inviting to the wedding,” Drew said before naming names like David Visentin and Hilary Farr from Love It or List It, Egypt Sherrod from Property Virgins, Tiffany Brooks who won HGTV Design Star, Mike Holmes from Holmes on Homes, and Scott McGillivray from Income Property.
Do Drew and Linda want kids?
Yes, they do! “We do plan in the very near future on having children,” Drew said. “We would love to have twins.” So cute!
Has Linda ever appeared on Property Brothers with Drew?
Yes! Not only is she the creative director of the twins’ production company, Scott Brothers Entertainment, she’s also made a plethora of on-screen appearances with her famous hubby-to-be. However, Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House, is premiering on Nov. 22, and this will be the first time Linda will really star in a show with Drew (and Jonathan!).
Although, she’s admitted she has reservations about her decision to join “every single day.” “I’m definitely still not used to it,” she told People of the show, which will follow the remodeling of her and Drew’s LA home. “But working with Drew and Jonathan for the past seven years — they make everything so easy and make everyone feel so comfortable. So I really did feel right at home.”
And Drew couldn’t be happier to have his lady on board! “I was actually nervous at first, having Linda come in. I know she has an architectural design background but we’ve never actually designed a house together,” he said. “I was wondering how we were going to mesh. Were we going to butt heads too much? I was blown away by Linda’s ideas.”

Is Jonathan Scott going to get engaged anytime soon?
As for a double engagement (yes Jonathan, we’re looking at you), Drew’s twin bro said it won’t be happening now. “We’re not going to take the thunder away from Drew and Linda by any means, but we’re absolutely enjoying everything,” he adorably told Closer. And he plans to do his best man speech on the fly. “I’m more of a talk from the heart kind of guy,” Jonathan added. We can’t wait to see all the pics from the upcoming big day!
