Chase’s Latest Lake Encounter With Weeping Willow Leaves ‘General Hospital’ Fans Seeing Red

General Hospital fans felt they were experiencing a case of deja vu while watching yet another Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) encounter at the Quartermaine boathouse. Willow poured on the waterworks, Chase took the bait, and fans were up in arms, furious at how naive (and scantily clad) this detective turned out to be.

GH’s Chase Remains in the Doghouse

Harrison Chase is the only person left in Port Charles who thinks Congresswoman Willow Tait is pure as the driven snow when actually, she is a serial cheater who has tried to kill her husband twice and then locked him in a paralytic state for six months while working with an international crime lord.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had just confronted Willow with who she really was and the knowledge that Willow shot Drew (Cameron Mathison) when she ran into Chase in the boathouse. After Alexis called her a monster, Willow contemplated that description and that was the state Chase found her in.

As she lamented the fact that the town still looked at her suspiciously despite being found not guilty for shooting Drew, all Chase, a married man with a wife and a baby, could do was tell Willow how wonderful she was. Without a shirt, which was how he was dressed when he helped his ex-wife move this week. GH fans were not amused by Chase’s behavior.

Other shirt comments included, “So is Chase only topless around Willow?” and “I swear, Chase truly doesn’t own a shirt unless he’s off the Q estate.”

In the end, GH fans want Chase to stop acting so foolish when he is supposed to be a decorated police detective.

“Willow calls her crimes allegations when she’s actually guilty. She’s so delusional and acts like a victim. And dumb Chase keeps falling for her damsel in distress act,” one fan said, summing up the whole sad soapy situation.
