As someone who is under the spotlight in Hollywood, Gwyneth Paltrow will always be questioned about plastic surgery. However, don’t expect the actress to go down that route just yet.

“We’re living in a time where there are all these amazing things that are available to women who are aging and I’m just not sure how I feel about it yet,” the 47-year-old said at Vanity Fair’s New Establishment Summit on Tuesday, October 29. ” I’ve tried like little things here and there but I haven’t felt comfortable really pursuing it.”

“I reserve the right to do it or have a facelift or whatever at some point; I’m not saying I wouldn’t but I think there is a part of me that feels conflicted on some level about it,” the Oscar winner continued. “Sometimes I see these those gorgeous, old French movie stars and they just are, and it’s just very sensual in a way. It’s extremely empowering to just be yourself and not lose your sensuality and your, your femininity, but we’ll see. I’m not making any promises.”

Gwyneth — who is currently married to TV producer Brad Falchuk — has no problem being herself. She has even embraced her age. “I’ve been considered to be this woman, you know …” the A-lister once said during the first episode of her website Goop‘s podcast. “… I’ve been considered, not by everyone … It’s a weird thing to be, I don’t mean in a pejorative way objectified, but, you know, sort of, like, cast as something and put in a box. And then I think when you come to age, if you have this broad identity as that, like, what does it mean?”

“To get wrinkles and, like, get closer to menopause, and all these things … what happens to your identity as a woman if you’re not f–kable and beautiful?” Gwyneth added. “I’ve always felt so funny about my looks, and, like, I think that it’s very rare to think that you’re a beautiful person … I feel like every other woman, like, I don’t see that when I look in the mirror.” So great!

It certainly seems like Gwyneth is completely happy with who she is!
