Kate Jackson stepped into the spotlight for the first time in years as she reunited with her fellow Charlie’s Angels costars Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd.
On Monday, April 6, the three women participated in PaleyFest LA in honor of the hit television show’s 50th anniversary.
The trio all donned sleek pantsuits, with Jackson, 77, in black, Smith, 80, in a light pink, and Ladd, 74, in white on the bottom and a pop of orange on the top.

A source previously told Closerin February that, “It took a lot for Jaclyn and Cheryl to talk Kate into this,” as “she really hates the spotlight but she’s also a very sentimental person.
“This being the 50th anniversary did sway her,” the source added. “She’s very aware that moments like this don’t come around often.”

While at PaleyFest, the women participated in a panel, and Jackson explained how the crime drama emerged, per Variety. Jackson shared that, before Charlie’s Angels, she was on a show called The Rookies, where Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg served as executive producers, and that they had a right of first refusal on her next project.

Goldberg presented her with a show called Alley Cats about three women who were private investigators but also wore whips and chains,” per Variety.
“Len said, ‘It’s available because all three networks have already passed it over,’” Jackson told the audience. “That sounds like a real winner! He tells me the story of ‘Alley Cats,’ and I’m thinking that’s the worst idea I ever heard in my life.”
However, Spelling, not sold on the concept, asked Jackson for ideas, and she pitched the initial concept that became Charlie’s Angels.
