William And Kate Continue Their Royal Duties At Remembrance Day Ceremony
After visiting with volunteers at a local Tube station on Thursday, William and Kate attended an official Remembrance Day ceremony on Sunday, commemorating members of the armed forces who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Kate watched from the nearby Foreign Office balcony as husband William laid a wreath at the Cenotaph at Whitehall, a structure originally erected to mark the official end of the First World War.
The Duchess wore a navy Temperley London button-up coat with matching beret by Sylvia Fletcher for Lock and Company. Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, who is married to William’s uncle Prince Edward, and retired British naval officer Sir Timothy Laurence joined her on the balcony for the ceremony.
Other royals in attendance included the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, and Prince Harry.
