Katie Holmes Supports Jamie Foxx’s Eyewear Launch While Seemingly Confirming Their Relationship

After more than four years of dating, Katie Holmes seemingly confirmed her relationship with Jamie Foxx by attending the launch party for Privé Revaux Eyewear’s Flagship store in NYC on Monday, Dec. 4. Though they did not take one picture together at the event, Katie, 38, and Jamie, 49 — who serves as a celebrity ambassador for the brand — hung out when the cameras weren’t flashing.

The couple’s night out in the Big Apple comes just weeks after Hollywood Life reported that Katie has grown tired of keeping her romance with Jamie hush-hush. “Katie is ready to go more public with her relationship, but Jamie is trying to keep things quiet and that is disappointing to her,” a source told the site in October. “Not only has she fallen in love with him, but [her 11-year-old daughter] Suri Cruise has too which makes it more frustrating for Katie.”

The insider continued, “Jamie has been a big part of their life for a while now and aside from the occasional walk on the beach, the pair have kept their private life private. Katie has made it clear to Jamie that they have nothing to fear and no reason to keep things hush. Katie is proud to be with Jamie and wants to feel free to go out to dinner, the theater, Disneyland with Suri, or anywhere they want together.”

Earlier this year, Jamie opened up about his love life during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show. However, he did not mention Katie’s name — and joked about the trouble with dating younger girls. “It’s tough out there,” he said. “I am getting older, but people think I am younger because I hang out with [Kanye West]… so I see younger girls. It’s terrible… When I told them how old I was, you would’ve thought I told them I had a terminal disease.”

A source recently told Life & Style that Katie never imagined she would be in such a private relationship after finally breaking free from her ex and husband of nearly six years, Tom Cruise, in July 2012. “But she will take this over nothing,” the insider explained.

“Katie’s friends are telling her that if he isn’t willing to step up and be there for her as a true partner, it’s time for her to move on,” another insider told Life & Style. “But she really loves him and can’t seem to let go.” A third source added, “They want her to find a man she can be seen with, travel with… A man who can walk her down the red carpet.”
